OCR Level-2 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Information and Creative Technology (Multimedia, Gaming and Animation)
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR
This is a specialist course for learners with ASD and/or high needs learners to assist them to progress onto a full Level 3 IT/media/gaming course. Students on this course must have an Education Health Care Plan.
This course is for students who want to gain a range of skills and knowledge in the use of IT applications. It gives students the opportunity to acquire skills and understanding of games and animation design that can lead to progressing to the next level of vocational learning.
COURSE CONTENT
The course has been designed to develop relevant knowledge, skills and understanding and provide an opportunity for students to develop their literacy and numeracy skills.
Within the course, students study a range of topics, communicating in an IT Industry, Working in an IT Industry, Multimedia, Game Development, Animation, Media Assets and Graphics.
