Chemistry with Chemical Engineering BSc(Hons)

Designed with a four-way split between organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry, our Chemistry with Chemical Engineering BSc(Hons) course also weaves problem-solving and logical reasoning through all the modules.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
BBC at A Level including a grade C in Chemistry. The endorsement for practical work is an essential part of Science A Level study, and is a requirement for entry to our degree course.
112 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications which must include minimum grade C in Chemistry at A Level.
DMM in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science. Alternatively a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care/Medicinal Science is acceptable but must be accompanied by an A Level in Chemistry and Maths at minimum grade C.
Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits at Merit or above to include modules in Chemistry.
112 UCAS tariff points from International Baccalaureate qualifications, including Higher Level Chemistry at grade 5.
If you do not have the appropriate qualifications for direct entry to this degree you may be able to apply to our Science Extended Degree (BCF0).
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
