Editors and post-production professionals often start work as edit assistants, assistant colourists, data wranglers, trainee visual effects compositors and machine room technicians.

Students can progress on to roles such as editors, colourists or compositors in films, TV and online media.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Students will be expected to have five GCSEs (grade C/level 4 or above) or equivalent (including English), and hold at least one of the below or equivalent UK/international qualifications.

Qualifications accepted:

  • 2 A levels, grade C or above
  • 4 AS levels, grade C or above
  • 2 vocational A levels, grade C or above
  • Level 3 Foundation Diploma or National Diploma
  • Advanced Diploma, grade C or above
  • International Baccalaureate, 24 points or above

Foundation

  • Indian HSC/Standard XII with an overall average of 50% or higher (all boards including CBSE and CISCE).
  • All India Senior School Certificate Examination

Undergraduate

  • Indian HSC/Standard XII with an overall average of 60% or higher (all boards including CBSE and CISCE).
  • 2 A-levels at grade C or above, or an International Baccalaureate with minimum 28 points
  • A recognised International Foundation course from a UK institution
