L.L.B Honours LAW WITH FRENCH LAW
Our course provides you with the foundation subjects required to obtain a Qualifying Law Degree, along with an exciting and dynamic educational experience, which includes the opportunity to spend a year studying at one of our partner universities in France.
Law is an interesting and challenging discipline, which impacts at every level, from people's individual daily lives to the operations of Government on the international stage.
Increasingly, the international dimension to legal study has become more important, across a wide range of legal areas, as the influence of the European Union and international organisations have become so significant.
Our course enables you to gain invaluable experience of another legal culture while acquiring knowledge of its legal language and legal system. It will also equip you with the transferable and cognitive skills necessary for lifelong personal and professional development.
When you apply, you'll need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of French to ensure you're able to study in France. You'll spend the third year of your degree at a French partner university and study law in French.
Our current French partners are the universities of Bordeaux, Paris-Ouest-Nanterre and Toulouse-Capitole. On successful completion of your year abroad, you'll return to Westminster in Year 4 to complete your studies.
Campus Information
Regent Campus
Our Regent Campus comprises three sites in central London, all within a few minutes' walk of Oxford Street 309 Regent Street – subjects taught at this site include English and Creative Writing, Languages, and History. Little Titchfield Street – our Law courses are taught here. Wells Street – Criminology and Sociology, and Politics and International Relations are taught here.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
We have included typical entry requirements below, but these are simply a guideline. Some courses may also have a specific subject or grade requirements, which will be listed on individual course pages.
For entry into Year 1 of Bachelor's degrees (Level 4), you will typically need to have one of the following:
- HSC XII: CBSE, ICSE, Kolkata, or Tamil Nadu boards with an overall average of 70% or above*
- HSC XII: West Bengal board with an overall average of 58% or above*
- HSC XII: Maharashtra or Gujarat boards with an overall average of 75% or above*
- HSC XII: All other state boards with an overall average of 80%+ or above*
- a recognized International Foundation course from a UK institution or an Indian institution following a validated UK syllabus. Entry requirements vary but we normally ask for between 60% and 65%
For consideration for entry into Year 2 of Bachelor's degrees (Level 5) you will typically need to have the following:
- UK Higher National Diploma (HND) with Distinctions and Merits
Note: If you are studying at one of Westminster partners in India we may have an agreement allowing entry into the second or third year.
