Medical Leadership, PGDip/PGCert

Are you a Postgraduate Professional (PGP) who has aspiration to move into a Senior Leadership position? As a PGP with high potential you will want to lead your team from the front confidently and competently in the executive arena.  This modular course allows you to discover and capitalise on your unique leadership strengths, maximise your leadership legitimacy and improve team performance in your specialist area. It will enable you to safely develop a suite of new executive skills and transfer them directly into practice as you progress through each module.

The course combines diverse, commercial know-how and internationally acknowledged, pragmatic self-assessment tools to help you develop best practice. The modular format means you can study at your own pace, putting new skills into practice with the support of your peers and the academic team before moving onto the next stage.

Each call 120 minutes.
Live video calls scheduled between 3-4 weeks so you have time to attend, digest, implement and reflect on your new know how throughout each module.

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

55% in bachelor degree

70% in Year 12 English*
Or
70% average grade in Year 11 and Year 12 English provided Year 12 is not below 65%
Or
Standard English language entry requirements – IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

GCSE or O-Level English Grade C - Grade C

A Level English Language - Grade C

TOEFL iBT including Special At Home Edition - 88 (with minimum grades of 21 in each component)

UCLan Test of English Language Level (TELL) - Merit (75%) with no component below pass (65%)

Pearson Test of EnglishAcademic - 61 with minimum of 55 in each component

Applicants will normally have a British honours degree (2:2 class or above) or equivalent, in a relevant subject from an approved institution of higher education.

Non-standard applicants are welcomed. 

We welcome all types of senior clinicians and administrative professionals who work in a health and social care context.

You need to be working so you can practice your skills to act on the learning, and to build your portfolio for your final assessment.  

Recognition of prior and work-based Learning in accordance with University regulations may be available.

International applicants will have sufficient competency in English language (IELTS Level 6.5 or equivalent)
