PSW Opportunity

2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

55% in bachelor degree

70% in Year 12 English*
Or
70% average grade in Year 11 and Year 12 English provided Year 12 is not below 65%
Or
Standard English language entry requirements – IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

GCSE or O-Level English Grade C - Grade C

A Level English Language - Grade C

TOEFL iBT including Special At Home Edition - 88 (with minimum grades of 21 in each component)

UCLan Test of English Language Level (TELL) - Merit (75%) with no component below pass (65%)

Pearson Test of EnglishAcademic - 61 with minimum of 55 in each component

Applicants are normally required to have completed an undergraduate programme or first degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Fashion and Brand Promotion, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Fashion Merchandising, Photography, Design), with a 2:2 classification (or the equivalent of a UK GPA of 60 per cent).

All applicants need to prepare a comprehensive study plan proposal which should evidence interest, dedication or experience within the subject of lifestyle and fashion.

Exceptionally an applicant who does not meet the above academic criteria but who has considerable appropriate work experience will be considered. Anyone wishing to apply without the above criteria will be welcome to make an enquiry through the MA co-ordinator.

IELTS 6.5 or equivalent for applicants whose first language is not English.
