Compassionate Leadership , MSc

This programme offers a unique multidisciplinary approach, drawing on the expertise of UCLan staff from the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise, and the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The programme is built on the foundations of coaching and mentoring and is designed to look at oneself as a leader to then to progress onto taking others on the journey with you. It is anticipated that the learning environment will be made up of a diverse group of students from a wide variety of disciplines. An inspiring learning environment will be supported by a range of creative and interactive teaching sessions. The effective deployment of technology will be used to support students both in the classroom and online. The taught sessions will be delivered by a multi professional team who will be able to share effective teaching practice.

PSW Opportunity

2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

55% in bachelor degree

70% in Year 12 English*
Or
70% average grade in Year 11 and Year 12 English provided Year 12 is not below 65%
Or
Standard English language entry requirements – IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

GCSE or O-Level English Grade C - Grade C

A Level English Language - Grade C

TOEFL iBT including Special At Home Edition - 88 (with minimum grades of 21 in each component)

UCLan Test of English Language Level (TELL) - Merit (75%) with no component below pass (65%)

Pearson Test of EnglishAcademic - 61 with minimum of 55 in each component

Applicants will normally hold a British Honours Degree (2:2 Class or above) or equivalent, in a relevant subject from an approved institution of higher education. Non-standard applicants are welcomed. Recognition of prior and work-based learning in accordance with University regulations may be available.

For international applicants an IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent will be required.
