Recent advances in renewable energy technologies is driving the energy industry to transition, both on a national and global scale. This includes new and exciting job opportunities. The Master of Renewable and Future Energy (MRFE), solves a critical need to provide engineering professionals with relevant renewable energy skills for a ripe market. Renewable energy expertise cuts across many disciplines, including; marine renewable, biomass, geothermal, photovoltaics, electrical vehicles, as well as microgrids. Supporting this research is a growing trend in the adoption of renewables in WA for remote and small communities, especially in microgrid and smart-grid technology. Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—
(a) a relevant engineering degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and
(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 65 per cent; and
(c) prior studies in Electrical and Electronic Engineering; or Chemical Engineering; or Mechanical Engineering
