Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Entry criteria
You should have the equivalent or above of a 2:2 UK undergraduate honors design degree in a contour, fashion design or textile design-related subject.
Advanced pattern-cutting skills are also a prerequisite, although do not need to be Contour-product-specific.
If you have other professional qualifications and industry experience we will consider your application on an individual basis.
Interview and Portfolio
A statement of current educational and industrial experience, career aspirations and specific learning expectations from the course should be provided as part of your application.
UK applicants with relevant qualifications will be invited to bring their portfolio of work to an interview.
Overseas applicants will be invited to a skype interview and to send samples of their work digitally.
India
- A Bachelor's degree with 50%-60%, depending on the university you have studied and the course you are applying for.
Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.
Sri Lanka
- A Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a 2:2 classification, and GPA 3.3 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a 2:1 classification.
Bangladesh
- 4 year Bachelor degree from BUET with a minimum of 55% or GPA 2.75/4.0 OR 4 year Bachelor degree from a well-recognized university with a minimum of 60% or GPA 3.0/4.0
