Postgraduate Bridging Program (Social Work)

This course provides the introduction you need by establishing foundational knowledge in social work and social policy; organisational management of community and other NGOs; intervention strategies used in the Human Services sector; and social research practices in the social sciences. 

This program offers the kind of foundation essential for your success in postgraduate programs such as the Master of Social Work (Qualifying).

Engage in such topics as fundamental debates in welfare policy; the impacts of remedial welfare policy and policy solutions; and investigate strategies to influence policy development related to social work practice. Explore developments in management practices in response to social developments such as multiculturalism, recognition of diversity, equal employment opportunity and recognition of contextual and local issues.
