Graduate Certificate in Public Health

This course is designed for professionals working in a variety of settings, including health departments and community organisations.

The units in the Graduate Certificate in Public Health provide a range of critical, research and practical skills in the areas of policy analysis, economic evaluation, epidemiology and qualitative methods and health promotion.
This course will provide you with the ability to determine the nature of community health problems and the skills to initiate steps in defining and alleviating them by bringing together the various services available.

This course will suit students who seek an introduction to public health. The program provides the opportunity to develop skills and acquire knowledge essential for the effective practice of public health. One of the major goals of the program is to promote the proactive role by public health professionals in co-ordinating relevant community resources.
