Who is the Master of Management for?
Our unique program is designed for those seeking a dynamic business career, who want to gain experience in the essential areas of business, from strategy to digital innovation.

No prior work experience is needed and graduates from any area of study are encouraged to apply. You will be part of a hand-picked group of around 50 students who work together in an inspiring environment.

Real-world, industry experience
You will gain hands-on experience working with multinational corporations such as Deloitte, PwC and Procter and Gamble, making invaluable contacts and forging future networks.

Duration
The degree is a 60 credit point (12 months full-time or 2 years part-time) pre-experience program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a career in management in your chosen field.

Master of Management Scholarship
The University of Sydney Business School Master of Management Scholarship is now open for domestic students. The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the successful candidate to undertake the Master of Management. Recent graduates from non-business backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Applications close 15 July 2020.

Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) are available for this course for eligible domestic students. This means that your course fees are subsidised by the Australian Government and you pay a student contribution amount (SCA). CSPs are limited in number and are allocated based on academic merit.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission, an applicant is required to have:

  • an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification or
  • an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with less than a credit average (minimum 50 percent required), and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630) or equivalent Business School approved admissions test.
  • Applicants must also fulfill the following three criteria:

complete a selection interview;

provide a one-page statement of motivation (outlining what will be achieved professionally and personally by completing the course); and
provide a recent CV.

For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and admission criteria are determined based on the country, institution and qualification.

TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing

IELTS score - A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band

TOEFL - PBT score - A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English - A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
