Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Performance
The Bond University Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Performance equips you with comprehensive knowledge and applied skills in health, fitness and sport performance. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic and applied sciences as they apply to personal and community health and fitness, and sport performance at all levels. Focusing on real-world learning, this program is delivered by award-winning teaching staff through significant practical experience and authentic assessment to maximise employment outcomes for graduates.
This program allows you the flexibility to tailor your studies to your interests and career aspirations by choosing from a range of subdisciplines, including biomechanics; exercise testing, prescription and delivery; or physiology and biochemistry of exercise, as well as electives in entrepreneurship and innovation, sport management, and tourism and events management. This program is primarily delivered at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport where you will gain high-quality and practical learning experiences through our National Strength and Conditioning Association-accredited High-Performance Training Centre. These facilities provide sports science testing, training and recovery services to state, national and international athletes and teams.
You will also gain industry accreditations in Strength and Conditioning as well as Sport First Aid.
The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise and sports performance including strength and conditioning as well as providing an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetic practice, and high-performance sports science.

PSW Opportunity
Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
FOR INDIA
All Indian Secondary School Certificate (AISSC) or Indian School Certificate (ISC) - minimum 65% average in the best four subjects.
Minimum 70% average in the best four subjects for the following State Board Secondary Education exit awards:
- Intermediate Certificate from the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education
- Pre University Certificate from the Karnataka Board of Pre-University Education
- Higher Secondary certificate form the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
- Higher Secondary certificate from the Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education
- Intermediate Certificate from the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education
English Language Requirements:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Overall score 6.5 with no sub score less than 6.0
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic Overall score 58 with no Communicative Scores below 50
- Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT) Overall score 79 (no scores below 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, and 16 in Reading and Listening)
