Master of Arts (MA) in Photography
The MA in Photography program provides professional practice and intensive study of the photographic medium. The core curriculum covers historical perspective, in addition to advanced theoretical and conceptual development in traditional, experimental and digital photography capture, post-production and output with a focus on the development of a significant portfolio in the student’s area of interest (Fine Art Photography, Documentary, or Art for Commerce).

While we do not require TOEFL or IELTS scores and do not have a minimum score requirement, you will be evaluated for English language proficiency upon arrival at the Academy of Art University.
