Your global business journey starts here. Our new Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Advanced Studies combined degree allows you to explore your interest in business alongside the study in other disciplines from maths to music and tailor your studies for a career in a specialized industry.

When doing the Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Advanced Studies, you can complete a second major, combine studies from a range of disciplines, undertake advanced coursework, and get involved in a cross-disciplinary community, professional, research, or entrepreneurial project work.

In the Bachelor of Commerce, you will gain a strong commercial grounding in areas such as accounting, economics, and business statistics.

In addition to technical development, you will gain critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply your knowledge effectively in the business world. Our core units, Future of Business and Leading and Influencing in Business, have been specifically designed to prepare you for the contemporary workforce, equipping you with leadership and entrepreneurial skills, as well as the tools to develop a global mindset.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Secondary or tertiary qualification

  • A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
  • This course has a Mathematics prerequisite. 
  • You are expected to have studied the following subject in high school to succeed in this course:
    • Mathematics Advanced or higher

Other assumed knowledge depends on majors or units of study chosen.

Minimum English Language Requirements :

IELTS score A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

TOEFL - IBT score A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
