BA (Hons.) Business Studies
The BA (Hons) Business Studies programme offers an internationally oriented and future-proof curriculum. Our students are exposed to a thoughtfully selected range of business topics that relate closely to the demands of the global economy, which includes 21st-century concerns such as digitalisation, sustainability, and ethical approaches to our real-world problems. Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
UBI has a flexible and personalised approach to admissions and we accept applications from students with a wide range of qualifications or a combination of qualifications and professional experience.
1. A complete application form.
2. High School Diploma (European or non-European) with detailed curriculum (summary of the programme syllabus) and marks/grades.
3. A 250-word (minimum) essay on the topic of your choice, among the following:

Describe the biggest risk you have taken in your life and report what you learnt from this experience.

Evaluate and illustrate your ability to set and achieve goals.

Describe your biggest achievement and outline the reasons for your success.
Please note it is essential to devote time and effort to this short essay, as it is an essential part of the entry criteria. Only the candidates who have shown leadership potential, a passion for studying/willingness to reach study goals, an entrepreneurial spirit, or a track record of community service will proceed to the next part of the selection process.
4. Proof of identity in the form of a photocopy of either passport or national ID card, and 2 ID photographs
5. Other academic requirements as may be deemed necessary (eg: English language requirement)
6. The students must also possess and be able to use a laptop
Once the above documents are submitted, and if it is deemed necessary, the applicant will be invited for an interview. Admission, or rejection of the application, is dependent upon approval by the Admission Board on the basis of the application file. In case of rejection, no appeal is possible.
