Civil Engineering Technician Diploma

As a Civil Engineering Technician graduate, you will play an important role in the design and construction of buildings, bridges, highways, dams, drainage and irrigation systems, streets, parks, subdivisions, and water supply and sewer systems.

The campus is home to the NC Teaching Hair Salon, the Walker Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Centre, NC Research and Innovation, a new Green Automotive Technology lab and the Rankin Technology Centre. The Applied Health Institute, which specializes in allied health programs, operates a functioning Dental Clinic offering services to the community while teaching students. Also inside the main building you will find the Athletic Centre, home of Athletics and Recreation and the NC Knights intercollegiate sports program.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent including the following required course(s):

Laptop & Mobile Learning

A laptop lease is mandatory as part of this program; all students must lease a high-end laptop from Niagara College. Personally dedicated laptop computers are an integral component of our computer-integrated curriculum. Through this lease, the student is provided with continuous access to state-of-the-art application software packages that could not be made available through traditional computer labs or through student-owned computers.
