If your program was less than 8 months

•    You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.

If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years

•    We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.

For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.

If your program was 2 years or more

•    We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.

If you completed more than 1 program

•    You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.

Each of the programs you completed -

• must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length

• A Visual Art or Portfolio of work.

Language requirement details

• IELTS Band 6.0 – Academic level
• TOEFL – score of 68 internet-based (iBT), or 520 Paper based (PBT)
• PTE - score of 52 - 57
• TOEIC – score of 700
• B2 First (formerly Cambridge English: First (FCE)) – Grade C
• LPI – Level 4
• Duolingo - score of 95 - 100

International Baccalaureate (IB)

• - A final grade of 5 or higher on IB English A1 (English A: Language & Literature) or A2 (English A: Literature) course

Post-secondary

Attended one year at a post-secondary institution in English, in an English Speaking country.

Acting Essentials is ideal for those who feel a need to expand their foundation as an actor and for those without a portfolio sufficient to gain entrance into VFS's one-year Acting for Film & Television program.
