Master of Divinity

Presbyterian College’s Master of Divinity is designed to nurture all elements of your leadership abilities. Here, you will form a strong theological foundation with an emphasis on biblical studies and will engage in opportunities to develop core skills in all areas of congregational life. Moreover, weekly chapel will center your studies in the worshipping community
here at the College. Congregational Experience In your final year of studies, 50% of your time will be
spent working in a congregation with an experienced supervisor. Generally, this will be a congregation
within your own denomination.
Following graduation, you will have the opportunity to participate in an extensive mentoring program, which will provide support, encouragement, and ongoing skill development as you navigate the early years of ministry. This will allow you to share your lessons and challenges with others through regular videoconference sessions where you will be guided by Presbyterian College faculty and experienced ministers.

Through your studies you will reflect on ways to narrow the gap between the Church and today’s culture and lead congregations of all agesand backgrounds in connecting modern society with the Gospel, deepening your own faith as you help others deepen theirs.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Students must apply to and by accepted by both McGill University and Presbyterian College. Students must supply two reference letters, a personal statement, copy of transcripts and participate in a short video conference interview.
