This degree offers a dynamic combination of practical and theoretical study. It features a grounding in the cultural industries, allowing you to work in professional contexts and enhancing your employability.

You’ll develop your own practice in our studios and our professional theatre, stage@leeds, and have the chance to work outside the theatre with external partners and community groups, from Leeds Playhouse to galleries, museums, prisons and schools.

With core and specialist modules in areas such as performance, applied theatre, devising, design, directing, management, technology and writing, you’ll be able to work independently and devise original projects. It’s a challenging and rewarding opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of performance and how it relates to the world around it.
