MA Creative Writing and Publishing
This forward-thinking and industry-relevant MA offers creative writers the opportunity to not only develop advanced writing skills, but also a solid understanding of the different ways in which writers can now engage with the publishing industry.
Offering both full-time and part-time routes, this innovative MA equips you with the knowledge and skills to take your writing into the commercial marketplace in both print and digital formats. You will develop creative writing across a variety of forms, with a focus on transmedia storytelling and the skills to independently publish your work working as a publisher; learning and applying skills in editing, PR and marketing (including digital marketing), design, production, and budgeting.

Talbot Campus
Talbot Campus is where the majority of our Faculties are located and is also where you'll find the main university facilities, such as The Sir Michael Cobham Library, the Student Centre and SportBU - a fully equipped sports centre and gym. There are many study spaces where you can work in groups or individually within the library and the Student Centre, as well as in the Purple Lounge.

Entry requirements for Bangladeshi students
- You need to have a Master’s degree from a recognized Bangladeshi institution, which should follow a three or four-year Bachelor's degree.
Entry requirements for Indian students
- You need to have an Indian Bachelor's (Honours) degree from a recognized higher education institution in a relevant subject and to have met the minimum required grades.
Entry requirements for Nepalese
- You need to have a Master’s degree, following a three-year Bachelor's degree, to apply for one of our postgraduate taught courses.
Entry requirements for Sri Lankan students
- If you have been awarded a four-year Bachelor's degree by a recognized higher education institution in Sri Lanka, you can apply for a taught postgraduate degree at BU
