LLM Public International Law

For September 2020 entry: In order to take advantage of new approaches to learning and teaching, as well as developments in industry to benefit our students we regularly review all of our courses.

Public International Law has traditionally been concerned with the structure and behaviour of sovereign states and intergovernmental organisations.

In recent decades, however, international law has also progressively affected multinational corporations and individuals. Public international law has increased in use and relevance vastly over the twentieth century, due to a globalised world with an upsurge in global trade, environmental concerns, human rights violations, armed conflicts and a boom in global communications. You will therefore benefit from the study of law in these areas and under the direction of experts in this field.

Talbot Campus

Talbot Campus is where the majority of our Faculties are located and is also where you'll find the main university facilities, such as The Sir Michael Cobham Library, the Student Centre and SportBU - a fully equipped sports centre and gym. There are many study spaces where you can work in groups or individually within the library and the Student Centre, as well as in the Purple Lounge.

Lansdowne Campus

Our Lansdowne Campus is just a few minutes' walk away from Bournemouth town centre. It's home to our Faculty of Health & Social Sciences and where you'll find the Executive Business Centre (EBC), the facility used by the Bournemouth University Business School to deliver some of its postgraduate courses.

Entry requirements for Bangladeshi students

You need to have an Indian Bachelor's (Honours) degree from a recognized higher education institution in a relevant subject and to have met the minimum required grades.
