International College of Hotel Management (ICHM)

Adelaide , New South Wales ,Australia

Pre-Masters Program

This Pre-Masters Program is offered as an alternative pathway into the ICHM Master of International Hotel Management (Swiss Hotel Association). Students who have a sub-Bachelor degree or insufficient English IELTS may be catered for by this program.

It is designed to be an academic language, literacy and numeracy bridging program for international students who have qualifications that are insufficient to gain them direct entry into the ICHM Master of International Hotel Management (SHA).

Students who do not meet the Standard Masters Entry Requirements  may undertake the Pre-Masters Program; if they hold a three-year qualification from countries, where NOOSR guidelines indicate that they do not recognise their tertiary study as equivalent to an Australian undergraduate degree and/or they do not meet the Standard English Requirements for entry.
Program Structure:
This program is a non-award, six months (one semester), full time program intended to enable students to demonstrate they are academically capable of completing upper level undergraduate subjects in Australia. No qualification will be conferred on the students once they have completed this program of study, it is aimed to provide them with direct entry into the Master of International Hotel Management (SHA).

The program consists of four Bachelor Degree subjects. Students who successfully complete the four subjects will be considered equivalent to students who have completed the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) subjects and therefore qualify for entry into the Master of International Hotel Management (SHA).

Students will be admitted, enrolled and subject to all relevant ICHM policies and procedures as non-award students.
