The Graduate Certificate of Information Technology is designed for students from an IT background who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in an IT area (information technology, information systems, software engineering, computer science). The course includes subjects in programming and emerging technologies. The course also provides an IT elective to expand career options. Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

  • Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
  • Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
  • Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
  • The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

  • Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Graduate Certificate in IT: Australian Bachelor degree (3 years) (AQF Level 7) or overseas equivalent in a cognate discipline with at least 55% average in their undergraduate degree.

Graduate Diploma of IT: Australian Bachelor degree (3 years) (AQF Level 7) or overseas equivalent in a cognate discipline with at least 55% average in their undergraduate degree OR a Graduate Certificate of IT AQF level 8.

IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no individual band less than 6.0, or equivalent
