Master of Event Management
The ICMS Master of Event Management is designed for working professionals seeking formal qualifications, as well as students seeking exposure to best practice within the event sector. It is a postgraduate degree that aims to develop strategic thinking and conceptual, analytics and current, practical skills.
Successful events can result in sustainable social, economic and infrastructure outcomes and are emerging as a key strategy for communities coping with globalization and the new economy. Underpinning a strong emphasis on the international event sector, the Master of Event Management is designed to develop strategic management skills and knowledge that may be applied to the delivery of events in a range of local, national and global settings.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Successful completion of a bachelor degree from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent.
- Successful completion of at least two award, or non-award postgraduate subjects (at AQF Level 8 or above) from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent.
- Successful completion of an approved Postgraduate Qualifying Program from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent.
- For mature age entry (21+): successful completion of a diploma or associate degree qualification (or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Government's qualifications recognition tool) and four years of relevant management experience
