Postgraduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

The Postgraduate Programme Suite in Logistics and Supply Chain Management will prepare and upskill students so they are capable of working successfully in the 21st century national and global logistics and supply chain industry. The programmes have been specifically designed to provide postgraduate study for graduates with an undergraduate degree level qualification (or with industry experience deemed to be equivalent).

The programmes are designed to build on knowledge gained from previous study in business or related disciplines, and in other degree study. They will provide advanced theoretical and technical skills in logistics and supply chain management and challenge students to critically assess logistics and supply chain systems. The different programmes are designed to meet differing student backgrounds, and to prepare graduates for different entry points and roles within the industry.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a Level 8 programme of 120 credits at levels 7 and 8, with at least 75 credits at level 8.   It enables students who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, or similar, with a minimum of the equivalent to a B average (as per the EIT 11 point grading system) to achieve a postgraduate level qualification in the digital business area.

The programme can be completed in 12 months full-time or up to four years part-time, depending on the student’s previous study and experience, and specific course preferences. Students who initially enrolled in the Master’s Degrees and are not in a position to complete it, can transfer applicable courses to the postgraduate diploma for the purposes of qualification completion.
