NMIT offers a Master of Applied Management pathway qualification. This qualification can be completed full time over 15 months, or part-time over a longer period. Students are required to complete 4 core papers, plus 2-4 (60 credits) elective courses and a research project/thesis.

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.

Certificate and Diploma Programmes (Equivalent entry to New Zealand NCEA Level 1 or 2)

Academic requirements
A Bachelor’s degree
OR
Relevant skills and knowledge acquired through appropriate work or professional experience.
Alternative requirements
Applicants who are unable to evidence that they meet Academic entry requirements, but who can demonstrate acquired skills for postgraduate tertiary study gained through study, work and/or life experience, may be approved for alternative entry by the Curriculum Manager (or delegate)
English language requirements
If English is not the applicant’s first language, applicants will need to provide a result from a test or qualification listed as an acceptable alternative by NZQA English Language Proficiency Outcomes:
