At Manhattan College, the chemical engineering major is designed to develop your fundamental engineering skills as well as the communication skills and ethical tools to make you an effective professional. As a chemical engineering major, you will develop fundamental skills in mathematics, chemistry and other natural sciences. You’ll also be exposed to a variety of traditional and emerging ideas, including: Air pollution control; Computer simulation and design; Design and control; Reactor design and kinetics; Transport phenomena; and, Thermodynamics.
