Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games
You will work in teams to develop game prototypes and final products for a range of platforms, including Android, iOS, Virtual Reality, PC, Mac and the potential of publishing to consoles like the Xbox and PlayStation.
Taking advantage of the latest industry technologies, you will learn the skills you need to develop games such as multiplayer networked games, first-person shooters, racing games, real-time strategy games, third-person shooters, role playing games, side-scrolling games, mobile games and many more.
You will acquire skills and knowledge to develop advanced complex 3D models, understand the pipeline for creating 3D assets for game engines and discover state-of-the-art techniques to get your assets game-ready.
Facilitation will include techniques that apply to all types of 3D artwork including: advanced character design, prop design, environment design, animation and visual effects.
3D sculpting software will be used to model and texture 3D game assets, allowing you to create stunning realistic models and textures for 3D games.
You will learn in the classroom setting, as well as undertake practical. This is also supported by supplementary video/screencasts available in our online learning management system.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
