The BSc (Hons) Applied Bioscience equips you with the skills to pursue a career within biological sciences including molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology and immunology.
With excellent laboratory and work-related learning opportunities, career options include clinical, food & beverage, environmental or industrial sectors in addition to research and teaching.
Work-related learning is available including an optional 12-week placement or one-year sandwich placement. Students have undertaken placements with organisations such as the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow, Devro and Controlled Therapeutics (Scotland) Ltd
