Environmental Health CertHE
Overview
Why study environmental health with us
We’re one of the largest and leading providers of environmental health education in the UK. Our specialist one-year environmental health course is an ideal starting point for your journey to becoming a fully accredited public or environmental health professional.
You’ll develop an understanding of the core policies, principles and laws surrounding environmental health in both the UK and overseas. You’ll also learn how professional, domestic and leisure environments impact on the health and well-being of individuals and societies.
Build your environmental health experience with us
You’ll have access to specialist teaching and learning spaces – including a food inspection laboratory and a Grade 2 microbiology laboratory – throughout your studies.
You’ll learn to use industry-grade equipment and practice real-world scenarios in our environmental and occupational health suite.
Our CertHE is equivalent to the first year of our environmental health degrees. Once you’ve finished, you’ll have the option to continue your studies to become a fully accredited environmental or public health practitioner.
