Business with Accounting BA (Hons)

BA (Hons) Business with Accounting includes modules that enable you to gain an understanding of accounting methods and theory.

Throughout the course there are opportunities for practical learning experiences and problem-solving. Between your second and final years we encourage you to undertake an optional year-long placement within a supportive work environment, or to extend your international experience by studying in another country.

In the final year you’ll either undertake a dissertation in an area of accounting or do a consultancy project as part of a team, addressing a genuine need of a client. It’s all part of an internationalised grounding in business and accounting that will prepare you for a rewarding future.

The course is covered by the prestigious AACSB accreditation for Newcastle Business School, which was ‘Business School of the Year’ at the Times Higher Education Awards 2015. The relevance, rigour and internationalisation of the course has been tested through the EPAS accreditation process.
