Our MA in Applied Linguistics is designed to engage students in a wide range of topics and perspectives relevant to the field of linguistics. We explore areas relevant to professional translation, the IT industry, education and language policy, language teaching, and publishing, all of which build your professional skills alongside theoretical understanding.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

For entry to our Master's programs, you will need to have met the following:

  • Four-year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year (However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Osmania, and JNTU a minimum of 50% in the final year is required)
  • 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements
  • Note: More specialized courses require four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 65% in final year.(However, if graduating from one of the top universities :Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Osmania and JNTU a minimum of 60% in final year is required)
