Business Computing, BSc Hons
Our business computing degree covers a range of themes important to businesses, including IT management, computing projects, and security issues.
With our degree in business computing, you will learn how computing and information systems fit into business structures and functions, and how computer systems are developed. You will also gain the skills needed to design and build systems to meet modern business needs. Popular career options for business computing graduates include IT management and support, consultancy, and project management.
This course is accredited by The British Computer Society (BCS), the Chartered Institute for Information Technology. Once you graduate, you'll meet the academic requirements to register as a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP).

2 Years PSW is applicable after the course completing (Bachelors level or above)
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
For entry to our four-year extended degree programmes, you will need to have met the following:
- Standard XII with a minimum of 50%
- 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements
For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, you will need to have met the following:
- Standard XII with a minimum of 60%(70% for Law, Architecture)
- 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements
- Some Bachelor's degrees allow advanced entry to year 2 or year 3, depending on your study history.
For advanced entry to Year 2 and Year 3 you will need to complete:
- Year 1 of a relevant degree with a minimum of 60%
- Postgraduate Degrees (Masters)
