Studying Painting at RUFA, the student receives high-level multidisciplinary academic training and a full understanding of the techniques and qualities relative to the world of Fine Arts.

The two-year Master of Arts Degree Program in Painting at RUFA is a degree that provides a solid foundation in theory and practice, designed to place students at the center of a substantial network of knowledge and multimedia experience, that will form a complete artist, able to apply creative expression in any of the artistic disciplines.
In order to achieve this, the course of study lends importance to the history and early influences that contribute to the origins of painting, exploring and analyzing the fundamentals such as the techniques and technology of painting, the sociology of contemporary art, the history of new media, phenomenology of art and the imagination, and digital application of the visual arts.
Painting students at RUFA will find themselves on an innovational multimedia voyage, which is up-to-date and multi-purposed and will transform them into complete and well-versed artists.

Digital applications used in visual arts, photography, new media: these are some of the multimedia areas that will be examined in the RUFA Painting Degree, a course that blends technology and talent and allows students to reach a high-level of academic know-how, essential for applying substance and authority to ones own artistic expression.
Graduate Painting students from RUFA can use their artistic dialogue to communicate within the world of painterly expression, the visual arts, and multimedia installations. A Painter’s workplace may be in the area of artistic direction, graphic and editorial arts, expositions, galleries and workshops.

Within the RUFA academic structure, the two-year MA Degree in Painting is part of the Visual Arts Department, the branch of academic studies in RUFA that houses the interaction between the Fine Arts disciplines, creating new synergies between them.
At RUFA the new contemporary artist is born, able to express oneself through multiple Fine Art expressions whether they are graphic, painterly, transformational or technological.

Academy Degrees are equivalent to Master’s university degrees.
