PhD Track – Biomedical Engineering

The IP Paris Biomedical Engineering (BME) program provides students with state-of-the-art research-intensive training in the application of the physical and engineering sciences to medicine and health. Applicants are expected to have strong backgrounds in engineering, physical sciences, or applied mathematics and a true desire to contribute to the upcoming revolutionary changes in medicine. The BME program is an integrated 5-year Master’s/Ph.D. program that provides students with a highly interdisciplinary curriculum focused on four specific BME tracks: Imaging and Image-Based Modeling, Biophysics and Biomechanics, Sensors and Devices, and Biomaterials. The goal of the program is to train future engineers, researchers, and entrepreneurs who will develop innovative solutions to tomorrow’s challenges in healthcare.
