Social Work PGDip
You will learn in sessions led by academic faculty, experienced practitioners, service users and carers. In this supportive environment you’ll develop crucial skills for independent and collaborative learning.
You will take also undertake two placements in local social welfare agencies.
Learn from people influencing social care. We work with local social welfare agencies on joint projects. These include development, training and research initiatives.
The Social Work MA has been validated by the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) – the regulator for social work. On graduation you’ll be able to register as a social worker. If you decide to pursue a Social Work MA after this course, you may be able to do so by completing a dissertation once in practice at one of our partner local authorities.
