Bioinformatics is the future of Biology. At the frontier of Biosciences, you will interrogate big data to benefit society.
Bioinformatics is an exciting and emerging field of biology. It involves an understanding of biology and the analysis of large data sets. Study extensive human biology content while developing your statistical, mathematical and computational skills. This will allow you to create, store and scrutinise complex data sets.

We've designed our Bioinformatics programme for those with a passion for human biology and data analytics. In your first year, you'll gain an in-depth knowledge of human biology and professional research skills. In your second and third year, you'll specialise your studies. We'll help you to develop your data analysis, maths and statistics skills. You'll also learn to collect, model and analyse biological data. We are a vibrant team of academic and technical staff. We'll interact with you during and after your studies to help you achieve your ambitions. While studying with us you'll develop your scientific knowledge and employability. We focus on practical, transferable and multidisciplinary skills. This all enables you to work in a wide variety of employment areas.
