Teaching is conducted in accordance with the study curricula which encompass a great number of elective courses. This enables student flexibility in shaping the study content according to their abilities and interests. In addition to regular academic contents, our programs develop students’ connectivity and understanding of global experiences. 

Students studying and completing a university undergraduate study program offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business, will be qualified for immediate employment in the private or public companies operating in different industries as well as in government and public administration, conducting jobs in the areas of economics and business economics. The learning outcomes expected to be achieved by students completing the undergraduate study program include competencies in analysis, synthesis and problem solving in issues related to economics and business economics, critical thinking, possibility of self and associative learning, flexibility and adaptability, organization and leadership qualities necessary for creative problem-solving and application of professional achievements in institutions and enterprises, as well as performing other highly qualified jobs in the field of economics and business economics, i.e. the development and implementation of expertise and achievement into practice.

Access to further levels of study:

After completing the undergraduate university programme in Business Economics, a student may continue his/her studies at graduate university programmes. The study programme is developed on a comparative analysis of other European study programmes in Business Economics and Economics, and therefore enables student mobility and enrolment in other study programmes. 

Professional status:

In accordance with the fundamental goal and specific course features of undergraduate studies, students acquire a higher level of professional competencies in the fields of economics and business economics, which enables them to perform qualified jobs in the field of economics, business enterprises, public sector and government offices. The acquired qualification offers the students an opportunity to work in private and public companies, government institutions occupying the following posts according to the National Classification of Professions: government and public sector officials, managers of small enterprises or institutions, and other business organizations (accountants, chief accountants, managerial accountants, heads of bookkeeping department, financial department, certified public accountants, internal auditors, tax officers, financial analysts, financial advisors, external assessors, budget advisors), experts in banking, finance and sales as well as other business operations (marketing, management, customs administration, procurement, sales), etc.
