Risk Management MSc

Risk management is relevant to all aspects of the industry, commerce, consultancy, and the public sector. Over the past couple of years, there has been a strong realization that risk needs to be managed and not avoided, which in turn has a major impact on organizational strategy. To this end, this course has been designed for those wanting to have a career in Risk Management as well as professionals from a variety of sectors who are interested in strengthening their careers in risk management.

This includes but is not limited to: accountants, project managers, insurers, chartered surveyors, health care professionals, lawyers, bankers, auditors, health and safety professionals, and engineers.  and recognizes the interdisciplinary nature of the subject.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry criteria

You should hold a good Honours degree, or an overseas equivalent, in any subject.

 

India

  • A Bachelor's degree with 50%-60%, depending on the university you have studied and the course you are applying for.

Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.

Sri Lanka

  • A Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a  2:2 classification, and GPA 3.3 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a 2:1 classification.

Bangladesh

  • 4 year Bachelor degree from BUET with a minimum of 55% or GPA 2.75/4.0 OR 4 year Bachelor degree from a well recognized university with a minimum of 60% or GPA 3.0/4.0
