Air Transport Management MSc

The Air Transport Management MSc has been developed by two leading aviation academics - with over 30 years’ combined experience - in conjunction with industry partners to offer a critical, comprehensive and practical understanding of the structure and operation of the international air transport industry. It has been designed to equip future leaders with a range of transferrable and analytical skills that can be directly applied in the workplace.

The programme is suited to recent graduates, as well as those with existing professional experience, who wish to develop and extend their critical knowledge and understanding of the commercial air transport industry.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry criteria

Applicants will normally hold a minimum of a second class honours degree from a UK University (or international equivalent) in air transport, geography, engineering, economics, tourism, international business, the management or a related subject.

Relevant industrial experience will also be considered on an individual basis.

India

  • A Bachelor's degree with 50%-60%, depending on the university you have studied and the course you are applying for.

Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.

Sri Lanka

  • A Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a  2:2 classification, and GPA 3.3 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a 2:1 classification.

Bangladesh

  • 4 year Bachelor degree from BUET with a minimum of 55% or GPA 2.75/4.0 OR 4 year Bachelor degree from a well recognized university with a minimum of 60% or GPA 3.0/4.0
