LLM in Legal practice
UCLan’s combined LLM and LPC course gives students the opportunity to gain the professional qualification needed to become a solicitor, at the same time as achieving a Masters qualification. You will:

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
55% in bachelor degree
70% in Year 12 English*
Or
70% average grade in Year 11 and Year 12 English provided Year 12 is not below 65%
Or
Standard English language entry requirements – IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
GCSE or O-Level English Grade C - Grade C
A Level English Language - Grade C
TOEFL iBT including Special At Home Edition - 88 (with minimum grades of 21 in each component)
UCLan Test of English Language Level (TELL) - Merit (75%) with no component below pass (65%)
Pearson Test of EnglishAcademic - 61 with minimum of 55 in each component
You must have completed the academic stage of legal training. This stage is usually completed either by graduating with a qualifying law degree or with a non-law degree then passing the Common Professional Examination (Graduate Diploma in Law)
Applicants must have a qualifying law degree (2:2 or above) which satisfies the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority of England and Wales.
