You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of the concepts, theories, and models about the study of game design and how they can be applied to both entertainment and non-entertainment uses. You’ll gain a strong understanding of game programming, production, asset design, and mechanics.
You’ll be able to analyze and determine multiple approaches to game design, mechanics, controls and the context within which they’re used. You’ll use advanced skills from specialist areas to achieve goals, including the design and implementation of complex game systems, documentation of the design process and testing and deployment of the resulting games.
You’ll also be able to apply game design techniques to solve real-world problems. During the program, you’ll also make and release to the public at least ten games and design hundreds more, from board games to mobile and desktop games.
