MSci in Data Science

MSci Data Science is a technical degree focussing on the mathematical and analytical skills needed to begin a career as a data scientist or analyst.

Over four years you will study across Computer Science and Mathematics and will be introduced to both data science theory and applications. You will also be provided with an overview of the social and governance context for data science.

In your final year, you will pursue your studies at the masters level with the freedom to choose modules to suit your interests.

Group and individual projects will form a part of your degree from year one onwards, giving you important opportunities to practice team working and problem-solving as well as hands-on data analysis.

The skills you will learn on this degree are highly transferable and apply to a diverse range of sectors offering huge potential for a varied and exciting career.
