Health and Social Care (Foundation Entry) Foundation Degree Programme

Successful completion of this Foundation Entry course provides a wide range of opportunities to study for a future career in Health and Social Care and includes progression to the FdA Health and Social Care. Additionally, on successful completion of this Foundation Entry programme, you can apply to study Pre-registration Adult Nursing, Child Nursing or Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, Counselling and Psychotherapy, Operating Department Practice, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Science, Social Work, or Sexual Health Studies.  If you are still not sure where you would like to specialise, you can progress onto the Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care followed by the BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care (one year top up). From there you could choose to further your skills in leadership or study to become a nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist at postgraduate level.
