Music, MA

The MA Music tests ways of taking music practice in different directions and then carrying out projects in which this work is presented to the public.  The flexible modules allow for consideration of instrumental and studio composition, interdisciplinary and multimedia pieces, installation art, community projects and more. The course is a space to try out bold, new ideas and an opportunity to acquire the real-world skills required by professional artists.

Students on the course build a portfolio of music outputs whilst developing skills such as project management, managing and archiving public events, and arts promotion.

The course is delivered through a combination of evening classes and one-to-one tutorials at mutually convenient times.
