Television Production, BA (Hons)
Our Television Production BA (Hons) course aims to produce the television programme makers of the future - creative, flexible and multi-skilled. The TV production programme offers live multi-camera production environments in our purpose built professional broadcast studio in the heart of the Preston’s Media Factory and now through our state-of-the-art outside broadcast (OB) unit. Our fixed exterior street set provides the perfect backdrop for drama and soap opera production; whilst the Media Factory offers a collaborative environment for film makers, musicians and performers to work alongside the Television Producers of the future.
The course provides an output for specialist interests including Sports Television & Live Event Production through our customizable study routes. The programme offers specialism in music video production, documentary and single camera production. Television Production boasts some exclusive partnerships with external companies, organisations and broadcasters; over the last 12 months students have worked with ITV through our unique Soap in a Week experience, BBC and Sony to name a few.

Preston
There are a variety of different ways you can access our Preston city campus, whether by rail, road or air. Preston is well served by the M6 motorway both north and south and excellent cross country rail links. There are also two major international airports in Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon.
