ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE (WITH THESIS)
The department accepts students with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature or other (un)related fields as long as they demonstrate English proficiency. Ones who do not qualify need to take no-credits preparatory courses at the bachelor’s degree level for at least one semester that will not count towards their Master’s degree. A total of at least 24 local credits and at least 8 courses and a seminar constitute the course work of 60 ECTS required for a master's degree program with thesis . A thesis of 60 ECTS credits is required for the completion of this 120 ECTS program.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
For Master Degree: * Passport photograph * Undergraduate diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English) * Undergraduate transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English) * Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport * A cumulative GPA of 2,5 (on a 4,0) or equivalent * For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -66 points (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr . * Students applying for Turkish Degree program (TOMER B2 Level) * If you know Turkish (You can pass a Turkish Proficiency Exam) * If you do not know Turkish then Apply for Turkish Language Program first at tomer.aydin.edu.tr, as without having Turkish Language visa students will not be registered to TÖMER.
