BA (Hons) Religion
Religion spans history, influences cultures and plays a major role in shaping today’s political landscape. It’s a subject that remains in the news constantly – in contexts ranging from discussions about marriage and gender identity to concerns about immigration and terrorist attacks. With all this in mind, it has never been more important to explore the many facets of religion, and understand the term’s meaning in a range of cultural contexts.
Studying Religion at the University of Stirling gives you a chance to do all this. You’ll explore how the meaning of “Religion” differs around the world, and take a positive approach to considering how the term might be re-interpreted. India
Year 1 entry – Four-year honours
Direct Entry to 1st Year:
Year 12 Grade – cumulative score of 65% and above.
Year 2 entry – Three-year honours
Advanced Entry to 2nd Year:
Year 12 Grade – cumulative score of 75% and above. Advanced entry is possible on a range of courses. Student applications will be considered on a case by case basis.
Please note that advanced entry options for students who have scored 35 in the International Baccalaureate or GCE A-Levels ABB in one sitting will also be considered on a case by case basis.
Nepal
Year 1 entry – Four-year honours
The University welcomes applications from students who have successfully completed the HSC Year 12, with a minimum of 75%.
Sri Lanka
Year 1 entry – Four-year honours
The University welcomes applications from students holding BBC at A level for entry to most undergraduate programmes. Please note that some programmes may also stipulate subject specific entry criteria.
