Master of Global Management

Confidence and competence are two essential skills required to effectively manage and lead within the current global economy. A Master of Global Management (MGM) degree from Royal Roads University is a generalist program designed to develop these skills, and more, to ensure you are ready to manage across borders and bridge across cultures.

The MGM is an international business management degree designed specifically for professionals who want to perform with sensitivity and agility in the global workplace. We offer a practical program where you'll receive applied knowledge while creating connections with professionals from around the world. Graduates of this program are fully skilled, work-ready managers and leaders with a global perspective and cultural awareness and an understanding of the ways in which disciplines like accounting and law vary across global markets.

In the MGM program, you will be given the choice of completing the program through four applied completion options: Global Management Project, Internship Research Project, Graduate Certificate in Project Management, or MGM+MBA International Business Dual Degree. All four options emphasize experiential learning – the application of business knowledge to real-word situations. You will develop a broad range of international business skills while learning to work effectively with individuals from other cultures, regions, and ideologies. The applied completion options require you to utilize all the learning and knowledge obtained throughout the program and this will leave you with an intelligent and informed perspective about the world of business.

How long is a post-graduation work permit valid?

How long your PGWP is valid for depends on the length of your study program.

If your program was less than 8 months

You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.

If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years

We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.

For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.

If your program was 2 years or more

We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.

If you completed more than 1 program

You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.

Each of the programs you completed must be

  • PGWP-eligible and

Psw same as course duration For all courses above 8 months (Lets say course duration is 2 year psw is 2yrs so total 4 yrs of visa)

We can also accept the IELTS Indicator test to assess your application; however, conditionally admitted students will be required to submit an official English Language test score (as listed below) to fulfill their condition before the start of their program. The IELTS Indicator test is available in most countries until test centres are able to resume in-person testing.
